(rss and feed readers might want to click over to see all the changes- and be sure to let me know if things don't display right in your feeds!)
It's a beautiful new dress, isn't it? All made possible by my wonderful, handsome, dashing Geek, who makes tech stuff look like child's play. He makes sense of stuff that looks like jibberish to me and types it into submission. (With only a few harsh looks and mutterings here and there.)
If you'd like to be able to read my blog in Bloglines, Google Reader (my personal favorite), or other feed burners, my rss feed is http://memoriaarts.typepad.com/memoria_arts_life_in_the_/atom.xml, or you can click the "subscribe" link in the sidebar.
Let's see:
- lost the navigation bar. It was a bit clunky, and while it links correctly in IE, it does not do what it is supposed to do in Firefox or Safari. It's apparently a Typepad bug. When they fix it, I'll put it back.
- categories are not fixed quite yet. Look for those changes over the next week or so.
- still no music...having an issue with the old embedded player, and looking for something a bit less clunky.
- In the sidebar, you can find:
* category cloud
* my reading shelf- I am NOT an Amazon associate. This is how Typepad allows me to share what I am reading with you, and you can see my comments on the books I am currently enjoying. The books will change, probably on a month to month basis.
* thoughts to ponder- this is a collection of blog posts from around cyber-land (similiar to a del.ic.ious feed) and a quick note from me explaining why I liked them. These change often, usually on a weekly basis.
* Memoria Arts Shop- this is my Etsy store (which is woefully empty right now!). The spring release will probably be in the next two weeks. More information on that coming soon.
*kindred spirits- this replaces my old "a cup of coffee and a surf away" page. These are some of my favorite bloggers, many of whom have become dear friends. Peaceful, inspiring, joyful. I am sure they would love a visit from you.
Click around! Please let me know (via the comments) if there are any bugs you catch, or links that are not working. I am so excited about the change, and I hope you all enjoy!
Oh, and the ATC in the banner is the newest entry for my WIP project. I never did have a chance to get back to the 'net most of the weekend to put it in a proper WIP post. I was enjoying a nice lazy weekend with the kiddos- even a date Friday night, which is such a rare occurance for us.
Look for the "Practical Weeding" posts starting late today or early tommorrow (depending on when they all get proofed and edited).
I love the new color, it is soooo you! and the type in the middle works. My eyes are having issues with the white circles on the sides. It could just be my age.
Sigh!
