A sweet acknowledgement...

I've gone through many conversations in my head since starting this blog- fluctuating from a need and a desire to write on the blog to a questioning of my motives, particularly because of all that has happened within the last month. I've really been examining what I want this blog to be.  I was incredibly blessed when Rebekah nominated me for the "Spread the Love Award"- an award that I have seen given to blogs such as Holy Experience (Ann, whose ability to say the deepest things in a way that always inspires me to dig deeper and go farther with my walk in God). I am humbled, to say the least. I feel my little scratchings on the wall are so undeserving to be put in such a category...

I would like to pass this to Elise, who spreads Christ's love to all she 'meets' in cyberspace. She too, inpsires. Encourages. Loves.

From the brain of a very pregnant girl...

I officially, finally, have my dear workhorse of a computer back. An unfortunate crash after a Microsoft update, of all things, left my computer metaphorically smoking and me without access to just about everything. Luckily...I am married to Geek Man! My superhero. He was able to recover all of my data, all of my pictures, everything. However, because I have to share Geek Man with the populace of unfortunate non-computer savvy souls, it's taken a while to get it all back up and running. I've been updating the blog from James' Mac, which leaves things looking wonky some times...and the most unfortunate of all, my blog rolls were on my *dead* computer. I finally got to visit all of my friends out in blog land...so much fun. And seriously dangerous for someone who is suddenly within the throes of nesting hormones.

Lisa is beyond dangerous for my crafting soul, I am telling you...loved these blocks she linked.

Tara did a kit for Cocoa Daisy, and I just loved what she did with it...I feel like my creative inspiration bucket is just about to overflow...I really want to try to do more "everyday" layouts like she did here. That is, when I actually get a chance to.

There is just something about Anna's blog that makes me sigh with that life is good kind of feeling...I can't help but smile when I stop there. And she's driving James nuts with all these wonderful recipes she's been posting (I think he really misses me baking! he he). Her son takes the pictures, and oh, what an eye he has. Pure delight! And her Etsy store---sigh.

Elise has opened an Etsy store, too. Love her, love her blog, and so jealous that she gets to work at Paper Source. Seriously. Although, if I worked there, I'd probably blow every paycheck there, so it would sorta be pointless.
